Dear Friends,

It has been a couple of months since you’ve heard from us, and a lot has happened!

First, a quick personal update. In June, I traveled to West Alabama to pick up a man and transport him to a faith-based rehab. While helping load his belongings, I fell and broke a bone in my right elbow. Since I’m right-handed, the past six weeks have been challenging. Thankfully, I’m gradually regaining the use of my arm, but I’m not back 100% yet. I would appreciate your prayers for continued healing and full recovery.

Now for some exciting news! Unforsaken Ministry has hired Maxwell Wright to serve alongside me. Maxwell has walked his own journey of recovery, giving him a unique understanding of the people we serve. He and his wife, Megan, are active members of their church in Cullman, where they lead the Celebrate Recovery ministry. This past week was Maxwell’s first week with Unforsaken, and he experienced firsthand what a typical week of ministry looks like. I’m excited about what he brings to our team—his personal testimony, his love for the Lord, and his heart for people.
